Department of Computer Science & Engineering
The department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the first year of inception of the college in 2001 and offers a four-year course leading to the Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering. The students and faculties are free to access Internet, which enables them to prepare papers on the latest technologies to be presented in various symposia and seminars.
The department lays a lot of emphasis on the fundamentals of Computer education and training, so that the students can build up on this strong foundation in whichever career path they choose namely teaching, research or industry. A unique feature of the department is some of the final year projects, which are being executed on the campus for real time application like database management system for the college and the software for library automation.
The graduates of Computer Science and Engineering today command a premium in the market and are lapped up by the software industry especially multinational corporations.
