| Syllabus for the degree courses are optimized to be completed in the stipulated time with no compromise to the quality of the learning experience. Students are trained to be disciplined to work intensively, gearing up mentally and physically for the demands of professional employment later. Continuous internal assessment consisting of tests and assignments has been conducted to assess the standard of the students, whereafter steps taken in the teaching strategies to meet with the student's needs. |

| MEDIUM & EXAMINATION NORM |

| The medium of the instruction for all the courses in English. Anna University stipulates a minimum of 75% attendance for students to be able to appear for the external examination. However, it is recommended in the ultimate interest of students, that they may be present and punctual for all classroom lecturers, laboratory work, field work and so on. |

| TUTORIAL SCHEME |

| As found in the universities abroad, tutorial scheme is followed here in a unique fashion. Each teacher is provided with 20 students. He / She has to monitor the progress of the students and maintain adequate records. Knowing the students from the time of admission till the students leaves the college, the tutor is responsible to issue the conduct certificate which will be endorsed by the HOD & Principal. |

| GUEST LECTURES & INDUSTRIAL VISITS |

| The college management organises guest lectures by experts from different academic institutions and industries. Also industrial visits are conducted to well known industries / factories to get the students familiarize themselves with practical and working knowledge of the subject / course they are studying. |

| ASSOCIATIONS |

| An association has been formed for each branch of study and experts are invited in the respective fields to conduct seminars and offer lectures to enrich the academic knowledge in various fields even beyond the prescribed curriculum. The institutional shall organise students chapter of Engineering Associations like ISTE, IEEE, IE and others for upgrading their knowledge and development. |
