Application for the courses offered by the college should be made on the prescribed application form. Instructions must be carefully read and understood and strictly followed.
Incomplete application form and failure to append the stiputed documents may result in rejection of application.
Furnishing of incorrect or misleading information could lead to the suspension of the candidate from the college at any stage of the course.Application forms and prospectus can be obtained in person on payment of Rs.250/- or through postal order / Demand Draft drawn infavour of ' Shri Andal Alagar College of Engineering' Mamandur / Chingleput.
The filled in application form should be sent to the Chair-person / Secretary & correspondent, Shri Andal Alagar Educational Trust, 72, Kaveri Street, Saligramam, Chennai - 600 093.
In support of their application, students mut submit the photocopies of the following certificates.
SSLC Certificate with marks (Proof of age and Date of Birth).
Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied.
Conduct Certificate.
Community Certificate.
Three Passport size photographs.
Joint declaration by the candidate and parent / Guardian in the specified format.
Eligibility certificate from the university (for student from outside Tamilnadu).
TNPSCEE Mark Sheet.
Candidates from outside Tamilnadu
As per the University stipulation, candidates from outside Tamilnadu, should append with their application a certificate of eligibility from Anna University. If selected, they should apply to the university for registration in the prescribed form within a period of 15 days from the date of their admission. Candidates from other states will be considered only under open competition irrespective of their community while considering minimum eligibility marks. Other state candidates can also be considered for NRI / lapsed seats.
Admissions for NRI and Foreign Students
Applicants shall not have completed 21 years of age as on 1st July of the respective academic year. The applicantion should enclose the following certificates for seeking admission under NRI Quota. NRI financially supporting the candidate must be a blood relation such as father / mother / brother / sister / uncle / aunt only
Letter from the sponsorer stating that he would meet the expenditure towards the student's study for the entire period.
Passport and Visa of the Sponsorer.
NRI Bank Account.
Employer Certificate of the Sponsorer.
Proof of Relationship between Sponsorer and Candidate.
Evidence for the payment of development charges in US$ 1000.
For Foreign Students
No objection certificate from the ministry of HRD, Govt of India, New Delhi.
Eligibility certificate from the University.
Appropriate student Visa and passport with details etc. Please note that original certificates are to be given at the time of admission
